Ford is driving forward with innovative enhancements in its 2024 Mustang Mach-E, focusing on performance, range, and customer-centric features. This year, Ford has integrated significant customer feedback to elevate the driving experience, adding more power and efficiency to their electric vehicle (EV) lineup.Ā

Enhanced Performance

The 2024 Mustang Mach-E GT leads the charge with the Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Upgrade, now the fastest model in its class. Achieving 0-60 mph in just 3.3 seconds, it outpaces competitors like the Tesla Model Y Performance and the Porsche Macan 4 Electric. The quarter-mile is clocked at 11.8 seconds at 114 mph, showcasing its remarkable speed.Ā

The Performance Upgrade employs advanced powertrain thermal modeling and new control algorithms. A standout feature is the in-house developed eMotor, which delivers an extra 100 lb. ft. of torque compared to previous models without the upgrade. This upgrade is standard on the new Mustang Mach-E Rally and available for the Mustang Mach-E GT, offering flexibility for owners to choose or add this feature at purchase or later.Ā

Standardized Performance Features

For 2024, the Mustang Mach-E GT will include high-demand performance features as standard. These include the Ford Performance front seats, the MagneRideĀ® Damping System, and Bremboā„¢ branded front brake calipers, which were previously only offered in the 2023 Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition.Ā

Improved Range and Charging Speed

The 2024 model introduces an extended range battery that charges nearly 20% faster than earlier versions. This improvement allows the battery to charge from 10-80% in about 36.2 minutes, which is 8.8 minutes quicker than before. Additionally, the standard range battery now charges in 32.3 minutes for the same percentage, cutting down 5.7 minutes from initial models.Ā

Access to Tesla Superchargers

In a significant expansion of charging infrastructure access, 2024 Mustang Mach-E drivers can utilize over 15,000 Tesla Superchargers via the BlueOvalā„¢ Charge Network. This feature positions Ford as a prominent player in North America’s largest public charging network.Ā

Enhanced Connectivity

Ford enhances its EV routing capabilities with integrations into Google Maps via Android Autoā„¢ and Apple Maps via Apple CarPlayĀ®. Alongside the new Public Charging app, these tools aid drivers in locating and connecting to charging stations more efficiently.Ā
